FORUM RULES
Hello there folks! Thank you for registering to Lost Mania, a spot for Sonic fans. Here you will find tons of community activities, such as mods/hacks for the Sonic franchise, fan games, discussions, and more...
In order to maintain a stable organization, as well as providing you the best experience at Lost Mania, we are setting up some rules & regulations of the forum that you will have to follow:
1. When starting any threads, be sure to post at the right sections. Stay on-topic to the threads as well. Any threads non-relating to said sections will be either moved to correct ones, or trashed, depending on the context of the threads.
2. English is the only allowed language in Lost Mania. It is fine if you cannot write in exact grammars. Any posts that aren't in English will be removed without noticing.
3. Try to keep your posts at least 3 words, or they will be counted as spams. Neither make excessive use of abbreviations nor slangs to write less.
4. Use one of our search functions before posting or creating a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's likely that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.
5. Do not spam in any posts!! Do not post for the sake of forum post count. Your posts will be removed if we see you posting unhelpful or non-contributing messages to our site. We also will not tolerate troll feeders.
6. Respect all of the members of Lost Mania, as well as their ideas. Having said this, we will NOT allow rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, harassment, bullying or purposeless inflammatory posts. If you don't agree with us, take it via personal messages, and we will try the best solutions possible.
7. No backseat modding. Who is/are breaking rules, bandwagoning and spamming is staff's business. The best you can do is to either report post(s) or contact us, and we will take care of the rest.
8. Do not post pornographic media or any content suitable for 18-year-old people and older in this forum!! (This rule deserves permanent ban)
9. Do not ask or beg to be promoted in rank! If we notice that you're a valuable member, and we want you to be part of our staff, we will contact you. Being part of the Lost Mania staff is something that you earn, not given.
10. If you showcase someone else's work, make sure to give credit where it is due. Don't just post the direct download link, post other links like their website, or their release videos on YouTube. If you see, that someone else already posted a mod of yours, you can post it and your thread will be taken instead
11. Do not make multiple accounts in this site! Do not impersonate anyone in the forum! The staff can easily find out your identity thought your IP, and they instantly punish both accounts with a permanent ban. However, if you did another account because you don't have any way to access, either because you got you account hacked, you forgot your personal information or simply because you were already permanently banned and you want to redeem yourself, you can contact the staff and they will give you the best solution they consider possible.
CONSEQUENCES
We give warnings to members who break a rule and more. However, abusing of it will cause you a ban, which means you won't be able to access the site during a period of time specified. Regardless, you will also be told the reason of your ban and you may contact staff members, if you think the ban was unfair. The more rules you break, the more time you'll be restricted from the site. This is why you should take in mind how many warnings you have:
1-2 Warnings = Private message from the staff
3 Warnings = Banned for 1/2 day(s).
4 Warnings = Banned for 1 day(s).
5 Warnings = Banned for 2 day(s).
6 Warnings = Banned for 7 day(s).
7 Warnings = Banned for 30 day(s).
10 Warnings = Banned permanently.
Breaking these rules as staff, will instantly downgrade you as member, no matter how high is your rank. The rest of the rules also apply to staff, but it's up to the administration team to decide which punishment deserves the staff who broke the rules.
4 Warnings = Banned for 1 day(s).
5 Warnings = Banned for 2 day(s).
6 Warnings = Banned for 7 day(s).
7 Warnings = Banned for 30 day(s).
10 Warnings = Banned permanently.

* If you don't commit any rule breaks after 3 months from your last warning, your previous warnings won't be considered any longer.
